Biomimetic Dentistry
The Future Begins Here
Extractions, crowns, and traditional onlays, inlays, and fillings are not your only options for decayed or fractured teeth. Biomimetic dentistry has allowed countless patients to keep more of their natural tooth structure in needed dental treatments.

Biomimetic Dentistry Can:
- Restore a tooth’s original shape
- Strengthen teeth
- Improve tooth appearance
- Repair chips, cracks, and decay
- Conserve more dental pulp
What is Biomimetic Dentistry?
Biomimetic refers to something that mimics natural biology. Biomimetic dentistry uses minimally invasive techniques to restore the patient’s oral function and appearance while preserving the natural tooth structure as much as possible. Our biomimetic dentistry procedures often use advanced bonding and restorative techniques to beautifully repair teeth. We believe biomimetic dentistry is an excellent option for many patients because these procedures provide long-lasting results and strengthen the tooth in ways that traditional restorations can’t.
Benefits of Biomimetic Dentistry:
- Long-lasting results
- Avoids toxic chemicals from entering the mouth
- Preserves more of the natural tooth structures
- Natural looking and feeling results
- Less need for anesthesia
- Cost-effective

Traditional restorations are invasive and often require parts of the tooth’s structure to be removed, weakening your smile. Biomimetic procedures avoid removing any healthy components of the tooth. For example, to traditionally fix a cracked tooth, the dentist would drill out the area before placing the filling material. The biomimetic approach is to not cause further harm to the tooth, but instead, sterilize the area and then place the filling material. Biomimetically-restored teeth have more of their natural tooth structure and will be significantly stronger than a tooth with a traditional restoration. Additionally, treatments typically last much longer than traditional restorations. When biomimetic fillings are properly placed, they can last a lifetime.
Fillings, Inlays, onlays, and ¾ crowns are common procedures we can use Biomimetic Dentistry techniques. Call our office to learn more about how biomimetic dentistry can benefit your smile!

I can't say enough good things about Kirkland Family Dental Care! The entire team is truly amazing and takes such great care of me during every visit. Dr. Chahal and Dr. Singh are incredibly thorough, and I always feel like I'm in the best hands. What really stands out is how they always take the time to answer all of my questions and address any concerns I have.

I am so grateful to have found this place! I have huge dental anxiety and cry very easily at basically anything. Everyone in this office has been so gentle and patient with me, helping me get through some scary procedures over the last few years. I'm not great with names, but suuuper big thank you to Debbie Zahara Roberto and Dr. Singh for being so patient and caring during my latest adventures there. Thank you to EVERYONE in this office. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic dentist! I’m so so glad I discovered this place. Honestly I’m a little bit of a baby. The dentist is a halfway scary place for me and I have really sensitive teeth. So I’ve hopscotched from one dentist to the next over the years to find the perfect fit for me. These guys are it! My hygienist yesterday was the nicest and most gentle lady. She told me very single thing she was going to do before she did it. And I had to go back today for a cavity or two and that was a walk in the park as well. This should be the standard for dentistry. So glad I found this place!
